Millfleet

So I've been using some archive photos that were recently gifted to me as inspiration for a number of Old views of Lynn for my summer exhibition....

The Millfleet is a a road I know well, ever day after school with my brother and sister we w po ukd walk down it on the way to the walks and then home. I was aware that it was once a river, but this was in the distant past... Well It was covered in the 1890's. So it was lovely stumbling across the archive photograph of the Millfleet, with the Minister (St Margaret's church) in the background.

So it was an obvious choice to use this to make my own expressionistic version.
